Dr Nancy Kelly
Dr Nancy Kelly is Associate Professor in Applied Social Psychology and Social Work in the Department of Social Work, Education and Community Wellbeing at Northumbria University. Nancy is committed to multidisciplinary research and has a background in engaging with organisations and groups in order to better understand judgment and decision making, peoples lived experiences of phenomena and implications for social policy and practice. She has been involved in several innovative projects including areas such as community development and public health, drug misuse, safeguarding children and decision making in pre-proceedings practice. Nancy has engaged with quantitative and qualitative methodologies but has particular interest in qualitative methodologies and analysis, and in using narrative approaches.
