Dr Jamie Harding

Dr Jamie Harding is a Senior Lecturer in Research Methods in the Department of Social Sciences and Languages at Northumbria University. He teaches quantitative and qualitative research methods at undergraduate and postgraduate level. His main research interests are homelessness and social exclusion: he has undertaken funded projects on rough sleeping, young people and homelessness, long term use of temporary accommodation and housing difficulties of released prisoners. He has published a book and several articles on the links between homelessness and other forms of exclusion. His current research is examining the role of foodbanks in tackling food poverty and the nature of sex work in Newcastle.
