Dr Sandy Wolfson

Dr. Sandy Wolfson is an HCPC-registered sport & exercise psychologist with interests in performance variability, the home advantage, burnout, referees’ coping mechanisms, and social identity processes in sports participants and fans. She has extensive experience working with football players, coaches and managers from non-league to Premiership level. She contributes to the MSc Sport and Exercise Psychology programme at Northumbria University and supervises Stage 2 sport & exercise psychology in-training practitioners.
