Healthy Living Lab team member Louise Harvey-Golding passed her PhD Viva on Friday 30th June, 2017 with flying colours. Louise’s PhD focused on a large-scale evaluation of the Universal Free Breakfast Club scheme delivered to primary school children in Blackpool, UK. She has already published two papers from her PhD and more papers are in preparation. Her external examiner, Professor Jackie Masterson of UCL commented on the excellent quality of Louise’s work. Louise is now working as a post-doctoral researcher in the Healthy Living Lab on a number of projects around school breakfast clubs and holiday hunger programmes.
